My family and I have been coming here for years. Great customer service, almost always a long line during lunch time because food is very good and prepared quickly. My favorite dish is the peppercorn chicken, but they have other gems like garlic chicken or black bean chicken which is amazing. Facility is very nice as you can get a nice booth with a window view of passerby on Spruce street.

Delicious meals, attentive friendly service. They were super helpful helping me identify safe foods with my allergies. I'm a big fan of chicken and corn chowder, clams and black bean sauce and now shrimp and tofu (extra to add but worth it) with black bean sauce.

Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had!! Great food for a great price. I've been going to the this place for the last two years and they never skip a beat. The environment is always friendly and always busy. You can never go wrong with their food selection.

I has been this restaurant twice. The English name is Beijing, the Chinese name is translated to "University City" (as the region was called). Both time, we have pretty good experience. BTW: Shrimp with Hot Pepper is very good, big, tasty and fresh. And, it is not as spicy as it sounds....

Delicious food and fast! Normally I order to go but I decided to eat in for lunch. I ordered vegetable soup as an appetizer and it was AMAZING! I wanted to bottle the broth and take it home. Wow. So good. I ordered the shrimp and asparagus with brown rice as the entree. Equally delicious. And free tea! Great experience!

Fresh. I've had my fair share of places in the city (when I first moved to the area). I cook a lot for myself. When eating here I found that the chicken fried rice was NOT over cooked and extra greasy. It seemed to be have made fresh to order and they didn't load it sauce, it wasn't 2-week-old crunchy, nor was it mushed together. It was however, crisp and super hot, the eggs were fluffy interior, slight crisp exterior, the rice was cooked perfectly. No complaints. They do happen to have gluten free meals here which could also be a reason why the good was fresher-made to order. I'll be stopping here again by mistake, but on purpose next time! Thank you. P.S. I actually was looking for parking and stumbled upon this place, partner right out front, where I'm typing this now!

Love this place! Have been going here for the better part of 30 years. The original owners travel to Beijing China and brought back the idea of opening this restaurant with recipes that are really authentic from Beijing China. Definitely worth coming to if you are interested in cultural dishes that are different in many respects from the typical Chinese takeout places. This is a student and faculty attended place so can be quite busy during the academic school year.
